Air Crew Land Survival
There is an age-old adage that states, “It is better to have
something and not need it than to need it and not have it.” This especially applies to the necessity of being trained in the
art of survival. No one ever wants to find themselves in a position to have to use the knowledge and skill
imparted in survival training; least of all aircrew members. But often times even a short course in survival skills
can make the difference in whether or not you make it out alive. This one day course is an intro to the psychology and philosophy of survival. Together we will explore
the essentials for surviving a hard landing, learning how to keep fear in check, and problem solving your way out
using what you have available.
