Air Crew Land Survival - ACS:

  There is an age-old adage: “It is better to have something and not need it than to need it and not have it.” 

This especially applies to the necessity of being trained in the art of survival. For air crew members it could be your next flight that makes an unscheduled landing and your spending the night in a field or in the middle of the woods. Even a short course in basic survival skills can make the difference in whether or not you make it out alive. 

This 24-hour course exposes the learner to survival psychology, techniques and must-have skills. Together we will explore the essentials of surviving a hard landing, learning how to keep fear in check, and problem solving your way out, using what you have available. Class will consist of didactic and actual in-the-field experience.

  • Resource and task prioritization
  • Hands on survival skill orientation

Air Medical Resource Management - AMRM:  
  Different programs have different needs. Depending on the mission type, accident history, crew configuration, location of dispatch and maintenance, the participants’ needs vary. When we provide a AMRM course to our clients we interview the client program and customize the training experience to maximize safety, learning outcomes and information retention. 

Everyone participates: Administrators, Directors, flight crew, maintenance personnel, marketing, communication specialist, and anyone else who has influence over flight program operations.

Air Medical Crew Core Curriculum - AMCCC:  
 

This is a four day comprehensive program that utilizes a combination of D.O.T. and guidelines for Air Medical Crew Education. This program meets and exceeds the State of Florida requirements for Air Medical education! This course covers both fixed wing and rotor wing transport.

Topics include:
  • Aircraft and landing zone safety
  • Air crew dress and fitness, flight physiology, and air medical crew requirements
  • Critical Incident Stress Management
  • International patient transport, basic land survival, and in flight communications
  • Basic x-ray interpretation, trauma, shock, neuro, burn, respiratory, and cardiac patients

Certified Flight Registered Nurse & Flight Paramedic - CFRN & FP-C:  
  The CFRN / FP-C Certification Review course is designed with success in mind. 

This 2 day program will review the following topics:

The Advanced Airway Course - TAAC:  
  The advanced airway class is designed to enhance the knowledge and skill level of the emergency provider through didactic, case presentations and practical hands-on sessions.

The morning session reviews respiratory anatomy and physiology from basic to advanced, rapid sequence induction methodology and pharmacology. The Afternoon session reviews real difficult airway cases utilizing multi-media formats. The rest of the day is spent on practicing various airway management skills and techniques including surgical and retrograde approaches on real tracheas.

All of our instructors have a minimum of ten years of field experience in difficult airway management.

This course is available for 7 CE's: FBON 3470.

Water Egress Training - WET:  
  This program offers a full, action packed,  day of training. 

Participants will engage in a hands-on learning environment designed to deliver the latest in water egress training.
