The information contained in this section is intended to provide an overview to facilitators wishing to host a M.E.C.A Training... 

First day...
Registration begins at 8:00 am. Class starts at 8:15 am, and ends at 5:00pm. If lunch is provided by the hosting agency 45 minutes is allotted for lunch. If students must travel off campus, then 1 hour and 15 minutes is allotted.

Breaks are at 10:00 am and 2:00 p.m., 15 minutes each.
The program outline may be modified to meet the needs of the participants population.

To be provided by MECA, Inc.

1. Multimedia presentation tailored to meet the specific needs of each course.

2. Course outline.

3. Course Director and Instructors.

4. Course Certificate of Attendance upon completion.

5. Registration and Evaluation forms if requested.

6. Daily Sign-In Log.

7. Post course on the MECA website.

To be provided by the hosting agency...

1. An onsite coordinator to act as liaison between MECA and the hosting agency... to facilitate morning sign-in, registration, and to perform any ancillary duties necessary to support the class.

2. LCD projector (for PowerPoint) /screen /speakers/ TV-VCR, and any necessary backup equipment in the event of technical trouble.

3. Break refreshments; coffee, juice, snacks... (optional).

4. Copy and maintain education records according to professional and state regulations.

5. Notify participants 30 days in advance of class times and location. 

6. Provide four airway intubation heads (manikins) for the hands on practice session.

7. Provide a room large enough for the class with tables and a second room to conduct the lab training. 

The hosting agency is encouraged to promote their program(s) during the course and has the option to make relative limited presentations during class when time permits.
